Enrollment procedures vary from elementary to high school. Please review the Criteria for Enrollment below, which will explain the requirements to complete your child's registration.
The following forms are for your convenience and will help to expedite the enrollment process. The Enrollment Form is fillable and can be typed and then printed. Each school may have additional forms that will be necessary to complete.

WHERE TO GO TO ENROLL:
During the school year, parents register directly at the school where their child will attend. High School registrations are by appointment only. You can reach the High School Guidance Offices at the numbers below.

If you are a current parent and have recently moved, please submit updated residency information to your student's school. NOTE: If you were living in the district and then moved out of the district and your child was enrolled and attending during the first count day (October), your child may finish the school year. To continue attending Chippewa Valley Schools, you must apply and be approved for Schools of Choice. If you are a parent and have moved out of the district and plan to remove your student from Chippewa Valley Schools, please fill out and submit the appropriate grade-level Exit Form.
Kindergarten requirements have changed.
According to Michigan Law, (MCL 380.1147), if a child residing in Chippewa Valley Schools is not five years of age on September 1, 2019, but will be five years of age not later than December 1, 2019, the parent or legal guardian of that child may enroll the child in kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year if the parent or legal guardian notifies the school district in writing that he or she intends to enroll the child in kindergarten.
If your child was born between the dates listed above, and you would like to enroll them in the district, please complete the kindergarten waiver form and submit to the building with your enrollment paperwork.
Kindergarten Registration for the 2019-2020 school year will begin February 1, 2019.
