Announcements – May 19, 2026 

The winners in $50 in gift cards for seniors who completed the FAFSA are Vincent Marola and Cheyenne Goolsby. 

Seniors - this is your last week of school - make it a good one - you will need to have all of your fines paid, laptops, books, and athletic equipment turned in, and lockers cleaned out. Check your email for this week's schedule including commencement ticket pick-up and Friday events.

 Our annual Valley Rally is today. All students report to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd hours as normal. Valley Rally participants will be dismissed from 3rd hour with bracelets. The Valley Rally will take place during 3rd and 4th hours, including lunches.

 All students must then report to 5th hour. At 12:30, those attending Powder Puff will be dismissed to lockers and then to the stadium bleachers. You will be dismissed from the stadium at the end of the day, so take your things with you. 

We will be collecting recycling this hour.  First- and Second-Floor teachers, please place your recycling bins outside your rooms.

Today is the deadline for requesting 2 Extra Commencement Tickets for seniors (this form) and Reserved Handicap Parking for Commencements (this form). In order for seniors to receive their commencement tickets, they will need to have all fees paid in full, and laptops, textbooks, and athletic equipment and uniforms returned.

It is Teacher Appreciation Week! Make sure that you thank your teachers for all that they do for you, and do your best to make it a great week for them.

Attention Senior NHS members: If you have completed your 40 hours, purchase your NHS cords on Pay School for $10 by FRIDAY. Any questions, see Mrs. Garcia.

Attention all Powderpuff Coaches, MANDATORY COACHES MEETING on Thursday 5/7/26 right after school in room 122 (Mrs. Eovaldi's room).  If you have any questions or concerns, see Mrs. Moran in room 139. See you all on Thursday

Our JLM summer camp is on Monday, June 22nd through Friday June 26th from 9:00am-4:00pm each day. We meet at different locations each day of camp. The goal of Junior Leadership Macomb is to help students better prepare for life after high school through career exploration, behind the scenes field trips, and a variety of interactive and introspective activities. Students emerge with established and solid connections, heightened self-awareness, self-confidence, purpose, and direction.

BSU will not be hosting a 3v3 basketball tournament due to a lack of interest. But they are still working on interviewing for Executive Board positions. Second Round Interviews will be held on Monday, May 11th, in the cafeteria. All positions are open for students to interview for.

Thank you to Stugo and to all who participated in Charity Week, which served to engage our students in fun activities and to support the American Cancer Society! It concludes today with a number of CVHS staff members taking a Pool Plunge during 6th hour.
