Students who are participating in the Valley Rally today will exit the building through the E doors at the end of 1st hour and/or 4th hour. You must have a wristband. Students must remain outside for the entire 2nd/3rd hour period, which will include games on the field, and/or the entire 5th/6th hour period, which will be a Powder Puff game. Students will sit in the home bleachers. Non-participating students will report to their regular schedule of classes.

Attention students - Yearbooks are arriving soon and distribution will begin next week for seniors. We will only have 45 extra yearbooks to sell!  If you want a 2024 yearbook, go to yearbookforever.com to purchase yours today.  If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Kiel in room 160.

STUGO general member applications can be picked up outside room 118.  They need to be returned to Ms. Zielinski in room 118 by Friday, May 24th.

Seniors:  When you are requesting your final transcript through Parchment, place your transcript on HOLD FOR GRADES. Once grades have been stored, in mid-late June, all transcripts on hold will be released and sent. It is important to change your email in Parchment from your school email to a personal email.  Once you graduate you will not have access to the school email so then you will not have access to your Parchment account in the future. If you have any questions, please go to the Counseling Office.

Seniors, you were sent an email with your remaining schedule. It included a Senior Technology Checklist. Take some time to complete that checklist as well as all of the others required before you get your commencement tickets.

Congratulations to business management student, Abigail Martin on being named Michigan State Champion in Microsoft PowerPoint. Abigail will compete in Certiport’s 2024 Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship in Orlando, Florida next month. Good luck Abigail.

Chippewa Valley was the top performer in Macomb County in the Michigan Math League. Congratulations to Lola Obeney, Alex Wolfe, and Amelia Ndoja who were in the high scoring group of students for the Michigan Math League.

The Chippewa Valley Auto Tech Club attended the 3rd Annual Macomb Engine Build Competition Friday May 3rd. The competition includes a written qualifying test and a hands-on engine build. Students had to completely disassemble and rebuild a small block Chevy engine in the best possible time, and the engine must start up. The team finished in first place with 64 minutes total time from tear down to engine start. Please congratulate this year's engine team: Noah Saffran, Nick Rescoe, Nick Kania, Vance Ratliff, and Evan Vogel. Please also congratulate the following support members: Corey Ashwell, Aiden Carver, Stavio Sheena, Vanessa Easterling, and Dawn Moore-Dillon for their behind-the-scenes project support. 

Great job to our art students who's work is on display in the main lobby showcases and the auditorium lobby. It is amazing work. Check it out.

The Chippewa Valley Auto Club Engine Team will be attending the 3rd annual Macomb Community College Engine Competition this Friday, May 3rd. This is a competition where students must disassemble and rebuild a small block Chevy engine in the best possible time. Please congratulate and wish the following students success: Nick Kania, Vance Ratliff, Nick Rescoe, Noah Saffran, and Evan Vogel, our 2024 Chippewa Valley Engine Team.
