Huron Student Council
Classes in grades 3,4, & 5 elect representatives to Student Council. Officers are elected from Grade 5. Our Student Council does an excellent job planning fun activities as well as community service events for our school.

Science Olympiad
What is Science Olympiad?
Science Olympiad is a program where third, fourth, and fifth grade students compete in a hands-on, academic tournament. Students that are on the team work collaboratively at weekly practices to prepare for the tournaments. Amazing parents volunteer to coach the events and work together with their children and the rest of the team. Science Olympiad encourages teamwork and allows the students to have a blast while learning about science!

Lego Robotics
Service Squad
Service Squad members are fifth grade students. Their responsibility is to help staff members with jobs in the classrooms. Some members are part of our recycling team. Fourth grade student may apply for a position in the spring for the following year.

Safety Patrol
The Huron Safety Squad is comprised of 4th and 5th grade students who have demonstrated good academic and conduct skills together with a high level of maturity and responsibility. They play a key role in providing help and guarding the safety of our Huron students.
