Families Looking Ahead to the 2026-2027 School Year

Chippewa Valley Schools will be hosting GSRP Preschool Programs at multiple locations.  All buildings that will be hosting have not been finalized yet for the upcoming school year.    

SPECIFICS ABOUT OUR PROGRAM TO CONSIDER:

• Your child must turn 4 years of age by September 1, 2026, to participate.  Students cannot be five (5).  
• Parents MAY NOT SELECT/REQUEST their location.  Classes are built using the guidelines established by the State of Michigan.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  GSRP Application Phase 1/3  There are three phases of the GSRP application process. We will outline the information needed for phase 1 below.  Upon receiving all of your initial application documents and the online registration survey, we will email you the details for Phase 2/3. 
  
  Phase 1:  ONLINE Registration & INITIAL APPLICATION FORMS DUE MAY 8th
  Please complete both steps 1 & 2 (below) by May 8th:
  1. Please complete the GSRP & Extended Day Online Registration by May 8th.  This registration will now be used to determine which class fits your schedule.  Please note that we will have you rank start/end times to ensure we can accommodate as many families as possible.

  2. Complete the INITIAL APPLICATION FORMS by May 8th and EMAIL them to [email protected]  OR you can drop them off at the CVS Administration Building Attn: Nicole Faehner. If you do not have a printer and would like a hard copy of these documents provided to you, please call the GSRP office at (586) 723-2275 and we can schedule a time for you to pick them up.

The Health Appraisal Form is not due until August; however your family physician will need to sign it, we wanted to provide it to you early

Your physician may also have a portal where you can print off their version of the form

LITTLE TURTLE Early Childhood Center

The Little Turtle Early Childhood Center is a parent-pay/tuition-based program.  Registration for the fall is held during the month of March - space is limited and the program fills up quickly.
